🍿 Rewatched Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) ★★★★★

Across the bottom is a rating of Avoid Okay Good Great! with Great! selected. The review reads: One of my favourite movies and I’ve watched it so many times. It’s an almost perfect buddy movie without the two actually being buddies. Candy’s quiet emotional baggage slowly revealed as the movie goes on and Martin’s gradual resignation and acceptance of his fate entwine so well. The gags and humour are classic '80s and you're either going to laugh all the way through or cringe, no in-between.
