🍿 Watched Conclave (2024) ★★★★½

A rectangular image with a review of the movie Conclave (2024). The show poster is on the left and the review on the right side. Across the bottom is a rating of Avoid Okay Good Great! with Great! selected. The review reads: Thoroughly enjoyed this. If Ralph Fiennes doesn't get an Oscar it will be a sin. A dramatisation, it has glorious costumes as you'd expect and the feel of authenticity. The little twists, the politics in play, the ending. They all make for a brilliant movie.

🎥 Catching up on writing some Letterboxd reviews. I need to stay up to date or it becomes to much of a chore and then I write none.

I’ve come down with an annoying head cold so yesterday and today have been short stints of work from home and the rest of the time has been reading on the balcony. It’s been very pleasant and relaxing apart from jumping up every 10 minutes to stop the cat climbing over the rail.

🐈 Collecting the cat from the vet. Phone call earlier said she is well after her dental clean. My wallet will not be well.

The Cat had some extra food tonight as she can’t have breakfast tomorrow before being put in the carrier to have her teeth sorted at the vet. Of course she’s still wandering around carrying on like she hasn’t eaten at all 🙄🐱

🎶 Heading out to dinner then Kate Miller-Heidke at the concert hall.

In a surprise to nobody, analysis shows capping public transport at 50c increased patronage. Also in a surprise to nobody attempting to use public transport around Brisbane, particularly on a weekend, it could’ve been higher except for the constant track, route and station closures.
