A new project manager and business analyst have started on a project which was reset after going awry. They want to do current state analysis and capture requirements. The thing we spent months doing last year on a system which hasn’t changed in 20yrs. Sigh. Time for new voodoo dolls to be made up.
It’s 9:30am on Monday morning and I’ve just set up my out of office message to kick in at 3:30pm on Friday afternoon. I am very ready for three weeks away from work.
I don’t know who came up with the idea to have a Snoopy themed screensaver on the Apple TV but they’re a genius. Brings a smile to my face all the time.
🌞 A lovely sunny day and it’s 25°c at 5pm and slowly cooling down. After all the wet weather lately it’s good to see a proper autumn day. A lot of the neighbourhood agrees with me judging by the number of people also out along the river and in the park.
🤷 Sometimes you can get all your chores done early on a Saturday. Other times the cat goes to sleep in your lap and you have no option but to keep reading your book.

Brisbane weather has reached the period, some people call it April, where your morning involves a conversation with yourself along the lines of “is it cool enough to need something warmer or will I just be hot and sweating after lunch”.
