Home from dinner and the symphony just in time to see Dutton concede after losing his seat and the election. A great night all round. Go on, f*** off, you’re out.

Queensland Symphony Orchestra - Shakespeare’s The Tempest
“It explores many themes, including magic, betrayal, revenge, forgiveness and family.”
Pretty much the same as staying home and watching the Australian election results.

A view of an orchestra on a stage. A large magnificent pipe organ behind them.

“Cocktail while you look at the menu I assume?” They know me here 🤷🏻‍♂️

🍽️ Heading out for early dinner then the Queensland Symphony Orchestra - Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

Happy democracy sausage day and the return of one of my favourite websites.
Even if you’ve done a pre-poll vote you can still sample the offerings available from your local voting booth. I’ll be taking a walk to the local church which is fundraising for St Francis Table Ministry to the Elderly.

👴 We’ve finally reached the time of year where I can dig out the crochet blanket to throw over my legs when watching tv.

The local primary school will be a polling place tomorrow and when I went past round 5pm today the Greens were already in the middle of setting up their signage for tomorrow. I don’t think there will be much fence left for labor or other parties.
A classic case of you snooze, you lose.

🐱 “Lamb chops? Where is mine”

A black and white cat standing on the edge of a tv unit staring intently ahead. Tv is behind her and a blue jumper draped over a dining chair is in front of her.

A latte in a glass. In front of it is a black leather notebook cover with a green pen laying on top.

Australian Electoral Commission spending big on signage.
