🚌 Getting the 50c uber to lunch with a friend.

🍷 Middle of my five day long weekend. Time to head out and meet a friend for a long lunch.

😠 Present Peter is cranky with Past Peter’s decision to not buy snacks when doing the grocery shopping.

Having a five day long weekend thanks to two days of leave and a Wednesday public holiday.

Have a few things lined up to do on other days but the rainy weather today is perfect for my Saturday plan: stay home, don’t talk to people, reset the very drained social battery.

I’m located in the diagonally opposite far corner to the exit door. We have automatic lights which turn off if no movement. Everyone else has gone and the rest of the floor is in semi-darkness. I shall now play the game of trying to activate as few lights as possible as I leave.

Explaining the concept of walking in a straight line to the cat and being ignored as she weaves her way in front of me.

I swear, they will find me dead having tried to avoid stepping on her and crashing backwards instead.

Most people tapping on/off the bus using their phones and credit cards and I’m sitting here topping up my Go Card online because it gave the low balance warning as I boarded. I like having a separate card. 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🚌

Long day but headed home now. I love the river at night.
