Our HR department recently recruited two additional change managers. Usually a fairly good sign there is some sort of major change coming and they need to bolster the team ready to manage the process. All the groundwork has been laid with the usual warnings about budget problems.

Woke up at about 4:30am from a dream I was having a heart attack. Turns out it was my brain responding to the 3kg cat sitting on my chest expecting early breakfast. šŸ±

My iPhone has yet again reorganised the App Library screen and put most of the Apple apps into ā€œOtherā€. Has happened after the last few updates and will sort itself out in a day or two.

Amuses me no end Apple canā€™t even categorise its own apps properly.

Had lunch with my nephew, his partner and their five month old baby. As my great niece started to get tired I was able to confirm she has inherited the family frown. Pretty sure I give exactly the same ā€œnot amused / are you seriousā€ look in meetings.

My niece (22) is visiting and this morning the plan is to head out for coffee then a bit of shopping. ā€œIā€™ll be up earlyā€ was the comment as she went to bed.

Itā€™s 8am and she is at original alarm plus three snoozes so far. I anticipated this and have already had a coffee.

Parked for 43mins on Wickham Tce in Brisbane, which cost me $4.23. Fast approaching the exorbitant prices the parking garages around here charge. If itā€™s going to be about the same cost I may as well start using the off street parking.
