👢 Lining the boots up for a polish. There’s something quietly satisfying about the way newly polished boots look after you’ve given them a good buff.

🏉 Settling in to watch the Lions Vs Suns game. The only AFL match which matters this weekend 😇

📖 Bit overcast but reading my book by the river as it’s relaxing with the sound of the water washing against the river bank.

When you’ve worked somewhere for a while, patterns are familiar. You can make a good guess what an all staff meeting at short notice will be about. Junior staff “do we have to go, I’m busy” gets met with “yeah probably a good idea to go to this one” from longer term staff. Tomorrow will not be fun.

The Cat is getting her annual health check and vaccinations. The vet sends more text reminders about the appointment than a doctor.
