🖥️ Started a game of Civilisation VI and now it’s “just one more turn” before I do other things.

🐱 Judging, always judging.

A black and white cat laying on a white woollen underlay. The cat is frowning at the camera with big green eyes, big whiskers and her white paws stretched out in front.

☔ Being a rebel, I have gone out for a walk without my umbrella.

Photo memories reminding me of one of the best descriptions anyone has ever given their cake contribution to morning tea - “a dismembered bunny screaming on a blood stained background”.

A round cake with white icing and the top has strawberry flavouring smeared over it with the head of a chocolate bunny and variety of small Easter eggs.

Forget sunshine, lollipops and rainbows.

A round enamel badge pinned on a blue and white striped shirt. Badge has a black background and in white letters says - Powered by caffeine and sarcasm.

The problem with giving The Cat a treat is she then expects the same with every meal. Currently turning her nose up at the dry biscuits as they’re not chicken.

🚶 Escaped from work for the day and thinking about a longer escape. Walking along the river and mentally planning out my upcoming trip to Melbourne.

📺 Finished watching Paradise (Season 1, 2025) ★★★★

A rectangular image with a review of Season 1 of the television series Paradise. The show poster is on the left and the review on the right side. Across the bottom is a rating of Avoid Okay Good Great with Great selected. The review reads - A surprise reveal at the end of episode one had me hooked. There have been so many post cataclysmic event type shows but this one is clever and well done. The over-arching premise is there, threaded through each episode as the flashbacks slowly lead us to the present. The penultimate episode was very good and dived deep into the some lives are more important than others decisions.

🍿 Watched Riff Raff (2025). ★★

A rectangular image with a review of the movie Riff Raff (2025). The show poster is on the left and the review on the right side. Across the bottom is a rating of Poor Okay Good Great with Okay selected. The review reads: Did Bill Murray and Ed Harris owe someone a favour so they agreed to be in this? Jennifer Coolidge was Jennifer Coolidge. Fairly ordinary as movies go. Watchable but don’t expect anything much, billed as both a comedy and crime it can’t decide which one it wants to be and is a bit all over the place.

📺 Finished watching Silo (Season 2). ★★★½

A rectangular image with a review of Season 2 of the television series Silo. The show poster is on the left and the review on the right side. Across the bottom is a rating of Avoid Okay Good Great with Good selected. The review reads - Having read the books I quite enjoyed S2 as it has incorporated the important elements and kept a good balance between the different storylines. You know there is more to the story which is yet to be revealed, basically some good low key teasing of more to come. The hint at the end of what S3 might be about is promising.
